I’ve been coming to BodyPulse for about a year, ever since they opened up in West Van. I’d heard about this from other friends that had great results so I decided to try it out based on their success. After about the 6th or 7th session, I started to see the body tightening and lifting. I’ve noticed a big difference in overall toning, in the core and also in the butt, I just feel a lot stronger and toned. I joined because of the efficiency of the workout and because of the results I have seen in my friends. I was gonna join the studio in Kits and then all of a sudden they popped up here in West Van so it was super good timing that way. I didn’t really know a lot about EMS training so when I heard it was a 20-minute workout I was skeptical that it wasn’t gonna be enough, like, what can happen in 20 minutes?
But after my first session, I realized quite a lot happens in 20 minutes here!
For me it’s about efficiency, I don’t the time or the dedication to spend that much time in the gym, I do a lot of cardio and this is a great compliment to that, I’d say it’s like getting that “weight training’ of overall body training that I don’t go to the gym for. So that’s been really good for me. It surprised me how much it hurt afterwards, in a good way! But you really feel like you’ve had an amazing full-body workout, and I was surprised by that to be honest.
I was more sore than I had been in a long time! My favourite part, well I like coming with my daughter, I enjoy egging her on a little bit so that’s kinda fun, I like the fact that I can bring my dog, I love that you are close by and like I said, efficiency, its great. I love it here, think you guys do a great job, and everybody’s friendly, it feels like a nice kinda family feeling here actually. Don’t hesitate, because I was skeptical to begin with thinking that 20 minutes was nothing, but I’m so glad I joined because its really effective.

As an entrepreneur I was finding I had less time to get to the gym and complete my normal training routines. I’ve gone from a full body strength and cardio program 5 days a week to two 20 minute EMS sessions at BodyPulse and I walk out of the studio feeling like I just spent 2 hours at the gym but without feeling beat up! It’s a foreign feeling to have only my muscles sore and no accompanying joint pain. I’ve been with BodyPulse for a little over a year. I would say around the 4th session I noticed a change when I was biking, I felt so much stronger, and it was a lot easier. The thing that attracted me to BodyPulse was that it’s efficient, that it’s 20 minutes, and I can do it right before work. The studio is close by and it’s something different to add to my routine. My friend and we chatted about it for 2 weeks and then decided to pull the trigger and came in, and well, I never left!

Ive definitely noticed more toning, I feel stronger for example I had really weak triceps and just the small arm movements we do because it’s a muscle I was never reallt able to workout I find that theyre stronger just from these sessions.
I had never heard of EMS before, so the suit and the wires and the buttons it seemed really weird to me and although the 20 minutes is appealing im always in the gym for an hour and so I thought it was gonna be kind of BS! So those were my doubts.
I work full time so its really nice to get in a short 20 minute workout especially in the evening so I still have time to make dinner and do other things at home.
I feel more energetic too, especially the sessions I do after work in the evenings, I feel a lot more energized afterwards.

I’ve been doing BodyPulse for almost 2 years. I felt that I was cycling and on my fitness jounrye and I just wanted something to elevate the things I was already doing and make the most out of it. I was doing weights and paddleboarding and all kinds of activities I just wanted something to really tweak those weaker muslces and areas. I had some friends doing it and they told me to join so I said ok! And I did the intro and then I bought my first package right away. It looks very deceiving, it looks like youre not doing much, but it’s a killer workout in a very good way! Its helped me with injuries and things. Thas a big one for me. It’s a part of my routine and I look forward to it, its 20 minutes and I feel such a difference.

It’s been a couple of years since I started coming to BodyPulse. My friend made me come! It’s the 20 minute component that’s a huge deal for me I think being able to get in a full body wokroout that feels efficient and effective andf something thay I actually enjouy in just 20 minutes instead of a full hour makes a big difference for me.
It took only a few weeks for me to feel a noticeable difference and then I just felt more toned and like I was seeing a real benefit from coming here.
I was a bit worries about the electricity component before starting EMS training but then I talked to some professional athletes and they said that this is something that they use for conditioning as a pro athlete which made me feel better and more confident in what I was doing.
My goal was to get strength though my whole body which I definitely feel like it has been accomplished and then just toning and overall fitness.
My favourite part is feeling really great when I leave and that sense of accomplishment when I walk out of here and I made it through a tough session and I feel like it was exhausting but it was really worth it.
Improvement in cardiovascular health and feeling like I’m more toned and fit overall.
I think it’s a very positive added exercise to my week so in the mids of swimming and personal training this is a nice piece to put in for overall toning and fitness. It’s a really nice way to round out my workout week.

When BodyPulse told me I would only have to come once a week for 20 minutes to start seeing results with BodyPulse, I was sceptical, but definitely on board!
You see, I just had a baby in, and while I dropped most of my pregnancy weight quite quickly, the endless hours of sitting to breastfeed had left me feeling softer than usual.
The idea that I would not have to spend 4-5x a week in the gym to strengthen and tone my postpartum body immediately eased my mind— and after just six 20 minute sessions (they’re so short that my daughter hangs out and watches without a fuss) I am so happy with the results I’ve seen thus far.

It’s coming up 2 and a half years since I joined BodyPulse, feels like its been a long time!
My goals were a little more specific, I have some lower back issues a herniated disc in L4 L5, so I cant train at the gym like I used to, I don’t really deadlift any more, there are a lot of exercises that I avoid, but coming to BodyPulse allows me to target those muscles that I would normally be targeting doing a heavy deadlift or something.
I would say specifically I noticed a change in my glutes and my pelvic floor, the areas that are hardest for me to target in other activities.
What BodyPulse has really helped me with in the last 2 years , not only do I have those lower back issues but also having 3 kids, my pelvic floor has never been as strong as it used to be and training to strengthen that is very difficult, its hard to activate those muscles, but BodyPulse allows me to do that. So I used to not be able to run long distances, I just didn’t feel strong enough, but I find that after starting BodyPulse I’m able to run again, and its just from strengthening the pelvic floor.
The results I started to notice were when I was doing my other workouts, I felt stronger, I could lift more weights and my endurance and stamina was better.I love the day after my session, when my backside is sore and I find it hard to get in and out of the car! Because I know that I’ve worked hard and I’ve targeted those muscles. Its allowed me to get back to some of the activities that I used to do, like running, I just didn’t feel strong enough to be able to run more than 5k, and now after bringing BodyPulse into my weekly routine I feel like I’m really able to do that. It’s a great way to mix things up and add in BodyPulse as a different activity, you know when you’re trying to workout consistently you don’t want to be doing the same thing as it gets too repetitive so I think just adding in BodyPulse once a week is a great way to mix things up and
it’s also great for if you’re recovering from an injury
or you have a soreness it really stimulates blood flow to certain areas so I find that it can help with injury recovery. My overall experience has been great, we always have a good laugh, its always entertaining, I can bring my dog, and its been really a positive experience which is why im here every week, EVERY WEEK! Its been a really prositve experience. After a BodyPulse session, I always feel like ive had a really good workout, tired but will be energized later! “

When we get our crazy space suits on and get plugged in, I feel like I’m in a Jedi Training camp! The intense feeling of the EMS, coupled with the movements, is something that must be experienced to be understood. It’s elite athlete training and I FEEL like an elite athlete during my sessions. My body has become stronger and more balanced. My yoga practice has improved. My frozen neck issue disappeared after 2 sessions and I look forward to my weekly workouts because I always feel super charged and elated afterwards, like I’m unstoppable and super human!
